Around Layla’s first birthday I made my first “mommy friends”, Emily and Angel. Through the years we’ve managed to continue our friendship as well as our kids’ even as we’ve all made new friends and taken different paths. When they offered to host a get-together in honor of Lincoln I knew they’d do it right as they truly have me pegged. They were all too happy to include Layla and honor her new role as big sister as well. It was a wonderful afternoon with the ladies in my family and I cherish all the little details, love and effort that Ang & Ems put into celebrating our little guy. We are blessed.
